Discover the creativity, music, and charm of Iowa's Driftless Region at Makers and Music, a free outdoor arts festival in historic Guttenberg along the Mississippi River. Browse more than 20 regional artists and makers showcasing handcrafted pottery, paintings, photography, woodworking, jewelry, textiles, botanical creations, and specialty foods while enjoying an afternoon of live music, local food, craft beer, and interactive art experiences. Throughout the day, visitors can meet artists, watch demonstrations, participate in community art activities, and shop for one-of-a-kind handcrafted pieces inspired by the landscapes and culture of northeast Iowa. Four live bands will provide entertainment throughout the afternoon, creating a relaxed festival atmosphere perfect for families, couples, and friends. Located in the heart of Guttenberg's historic riverfront district, Makers and Music offers the perfect opportunity to spend the day exploring one of Iowa's most scenic Mississippi River communities. Stroll downtown shops, dine at local restaurants, enjoy river views, and experience the creativity that makes the Driftless Region a destination unlike anywhere else in the Midwest.
