Join us for a magical afternoon as we kick off the holiday season in downtown Lansing! Bring the whole family for festive fun, cozy treats, and holiday cheer. All Throughout Lansing: Holiday Elf Hunt – Explore Lansing to find the sneaky elves! Enter to win $100 in Downtown Dollars. Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides – 3 p.m. at T.J. Hunter’s $5–$10 suggested donation toward L.I.F.T. Family Dinner & Movie Night – 5:30 p.m. at T.J. Hunter’s Pizza, soup & salad buffet ($15 adults | $8 kids) The Polar Express on the big screen at 6 p.m. Downtown Plaza Fun: Cookies & Hot Cocoa at 3 p.m. – served by the VFW Auxiliary Ladies Santa Arrives at 4 p.m. & will be in plaza till 6 p.m. Photos with Santa – two festive photo ops available Kids’ Goodie Bags – Santa’s Helpers handing out nostalgic brown sacks Community Caroling – join in after Santa arrives! Holiday Giving – first 40 people to donate 4 canned goods receive a free loaf of bread from Beth’s Kitchen Supporting Local Causes: This year’s Light Up Lansing proudly supports the Fire Department Toy Drive and L.I.F.T.’s Food Donations. Please bring a toy or non-perishable food item to help brighten the holidays for families in need. Let’s come together to celebrate community, kindness, and the joy of the season.
