The "Iowa Remembers: 25 Years After 9/11" Memorial Service will be held 9:30a.m. Friday September 11 at the Marion Public Library featuring eulogies honoring those lost in the terrorist attacks, the ringing of a Bell of Remembrance, and wreath laying ceremony as a symbol that all who gave their lives in the name of freedom and democracy that fateful day will not be forgotten. An exhibit composed of artifacts from September 11 and America's response to it will also be dedicated in their honor as part of the Memorial Service. A public forum shall conclude the event in which all in attendance are invited to share their memories of 9/11 and the impact it has made on their lives.
