Iowa City Jazz Festival

The Iowa City Jazz Festival began in 1991 and has grown to one of the most well-known free jazz festivals in the country. The weekend celebrates jazz with three days of live performances, delicious food and other activities. Over the years, we’ve seen a variety of well-known local jazz musicians along with up-and-coming talent alongside national and international artists to encourage and educate a jazz audience of all ages. Fireworks starting at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 4.
