The EcoTheatre Lab presents IN OUR BACKYARD: A New Eco-Play Festival In partnership with Ames Climate Action Team Friday, May 1st, 7:00 p.m. at Labyrinth Coffee EVENT HORIZON by Taylor Sklenar Saturday, May 2nd, 10:30 a.m. at Ames Public Library SHORT PLAYS (inspired by the Ames’ Climate Action Plan) by Tiffany Antone, Jessi Brock, Karen Murphy, Joshua Oren, and Amanda Petefish-Schrag. Saturday, May 2nd, 2:00 p.m. at Ames Public Library THE MONARCHS by Emily Golden Sunday, May 3rd, 2:00 p.m. at Labyrinth Coffee JONAH AND THE FLOOD by Charissa Menefee Four unique events, featuring eight new plays by local playwrights, new songs by local musicians, & neighborhood resiliency conversations facilitated by Ames Climate Action Team! Music by De’An Keys & The Unique Vibrationz and Ben Schrag. Publicity artwork by Natalie Deam. Free and open to the public. Sign language interpretation will be provided.
