Fonda Labor Day Celebration

Labor Day Weekend in Fonda offers two days of community activities for all ages. Saturday, September 5 features a four-person best-shot golf tournament, citywide garage sales, Central Iowa Truck Pullers, a 5K walk/run, parade, bingo, rodeo, and fireworks. Sunday, September 6 includes a street dance, demolition derby, and community brunch. Labor Day weekend events support the Fonda Town & Country Boosters and other nonprofit groups. The Boosters provide funding for local organizations, youth scholarships, and community activities. Fonda offers 29 camping sites and multiple amenities, including disc golf, fishing, softball and baseball fields, playgrounds, basketball courts, and the town kaleidoscope. Come join the fun in Fonda.
