Exhibit: A Moment in Time-Portraits of the Meskwaki at the Turn of the 21st Century

Opening Reception: Thursday, October 8: 5:30-7:30 p.m. with music and curatorial remarks at 6:00 p.m. Please join us for the first comprehensive exhibition of a collection of 1999 portraits of members of the Meskwaki Nation, photographed by Mt. Vernon-based artist Robert Campagna. This exhibition is a collaborative project between the Meskwaki Historic Preservation Department, photographer Robert Campagna, and the Grinnell Area Arts Council. The exhibition features photographs taken during the 1999 Annual Meskwaki Powwow and will be the first time this collection has been publicly exhibited. Regular gallery hours: Tuesdays-Fridays: 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; Saturdays: 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon. Admission is free.
