Donna Reed Present's Nosferatu: Symphony of Horrors

This Halloween, the Donna Reed Theater is thrilled to present a special showing of Nosferatu: Symphony of Horror, the 1922 silent film that introduced audiences to the Dracula legend. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m., and the screening will begin at 7:30 p.m. The event is free to attend and promises to be a spooky, family-friendly night! Though the film is nearly a century old, Nosferatu remains a hallmark of horror cinema. Notably, it was the first film to depict vampires being destroyed by sunlight. While the movie is not officially rated, it is generally considered appropriate for audiences 13 and up (PG). To add to the fun, attendees are encouraged to come in costume—continuing the tradition of the film’s premiere, which famously ended with a costume party. Refreshments will be available for all to enjoy. Weber added, “This is a perfect event for classic film lovers looking for a unique way to celebrate Halloween. Nosferatu is a timeless masterpiece, and we’re excited to share it with the community,” Both events are free and open to the public.
