DBQFest returns to Washington Park in downtown Dubuque on Saturday, August 8, and Sunday, August 9, 2026, for a free weekend celebrating visual arts, live music, creativity, and community. Iowa's longest-running arts festival features 57 regional artists and makers, two stages of live performances, hands-on art activities, yoga, poetry on demand, youth performers, local food trucks, and community organizations. Visitors can shop original artwork, enjoy performances throughout the weekend, and participate in creative experiences designed for all ages. New for 2026, DBQFest After Hours extends the celebration on Saturday evening with free live music at downtown venues The Goose and The Lift. Festival hours are Saturday, August 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (with live music continuing through 6:00 p.m.) and Sunday, August 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is free.
