Creatures of Grinnell Public Art Project

Get ready to explore Grinnell in a new way: discover the Creatures of Grinnell! Participate in a city-wide hunt to discover whimsical creatures imagined by local youth and transformed into public art installations throughout the community. Pick up a map at the Grinnell Arts Center, Grinnell Area Chamber of Commerce or Grinnell Farmers Market, and explore Grinnell as creativity comes to life throughout parks, downtown, and public spaces. Support for this project was provided by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Iowa Arts Council, which exists within the Iowa Economic Development Authority, and the City of Grinnell.
