Coffee Cup Mix Media

In this class, you will create a colorful coffee-themed canvas. We will start by building a unique background using napkins, tissue paper and lightweight ephemera with layering. Then applying a light wash of acrylic color to bring the background together. The final step is to bring order to the composition by painting a trio of coffee cups on top. Whether you love a good cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate, you will learn how to make your subject pop on the busy textured backdrop. We encourage participants to bring their own papers/ephemera for personal use or to share. 10+
