Civil War Reenactment: The Seven Days Battle, VA

The Seven Days Battles (June 25th thru July 1st) were a decisive series of six major engagements fought new Richmond, VA, during the American Civil War. Confederate General Robert E. Lee successfully halted Union General George B McClellan’s advance on the Confederate capital, Richmond. There will be free education, infantry & artillery drills, battle & medical demonstrations, a Period Ball, reenactors, and food vendors onsite. Camps are open all weekend to talk to the reenactors. Friday, September 18th, camps are open to the public from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. On Saturday, September 19th, Camps are open to the public at 9 a.m. with many activities planned throughout the day. The camps open at 9 a.m. on Sunday with a church service. The day ends at 3 p.m.
