Bockfest 2026 at River Hops Brewing

Bockfest at Riverhops Brewing is a German festival celebrating the end of winter and the kickoff to spring. A key highlight of the festival is the 400 year old traditional German practice called Bierstacheln, where a cold glass of malty beer like the delicious Spring Bock beer is presented to a fire-tender where they stick a red hot poker in the beer causing the beer to undergo a magical transformation, instantly caramelizing the sugars in the beer transforming it into a creamy frothy toasty liquid treat. Bockfest will also feature German style food, River Hops’ hilarious variations of some traditional German games, raffles for free prizes, and some polka style music. But what’s a Bockfest without baby goats? A couple baby goats and mama goat from Community Orchard will be participating in the festivities! Be sure to get your picture taken with a baby goat!! There will also be several non-alcoholic beverages making this a family event. All ages are welcome, just remember minors must be accompanied by an adult.
