78th Annual Band Day Festival

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 3, 2026, and experience the excitement of the 78th Annual Band Day Festival! The parade will take place on State Street in downtown Algona starting at 1 p.m. Spend the day in downtown Algona enjoying a lively parade filled with vibrant floats, classic and specialty vehicles, and the incredible sound of school marching bands from across the region. It’s a celebration of music, tradition, and hometown pride you won’t want to miss! Following the parade, head to the AHS Stadium for the highly anticipated Algona Band Day Field Competition, where bands will showcase their talent, precision, and showmanship on the field.
