The 42nd annual Bald Eagle Appreciation Days will be held on January 17, 2026 at the First Christian Church, 3476 Main St. in Keokuk, Iowa from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Free Admission. Come see the Lee County Conservation Eagles Nest and Nature Displays, Native American Displays and Artifacts by the Iliniwek Village, Native American Singing, Storytelling and Dancing and Beautiful Items to Buy from the many Vendors. Food will be available. Live Raptor Programs will be presented by the World Bird Sanctuary of St. Louis on the hour starting at 10:00 a.m. with the last show at 3:00 p.m. Live Eagle Viewing along the Mississippi River at Victory Park with trained spotters from Lee County Conservation. Free spotting scopes are available at Victory Park and Southside Boat Club. You can also drive the river road from Keokuk to Montrose to view live eagles in their natural habitat.
