Must Do's

A historical gem, this community is home to a variety of Dutch sites and historical buildings. Be sure to mark your calendar for the Orange City Tulip Festival. In the meantime, tour the Vogel Old Mill, the Sioux County Courthouse, Orange City Dutch Heritage Center, Stadscentrum and the Orange City Century Home. Visit the campus of Northwestern College and stroll through the downtown Windmill Park to see the flower gardens and Dutch canal bridge by the windmills. Dive even deeper into the area's dutch history by exploring the collection of exhibits at the Dutch American Heritage Museum. Also, peruse international crafts and gifts at Hands Around the World.

Outdoor Adventures & Exciting Eateries

Enjoy the great outdoors with Orange City's collection of trails and parks. Take a relaxing walk around the Landsmeer Golf Course or hop on the Puddle Jumper crushed rock trail between Orange City and Alton.

After working up an appetitie, head to Woodstra Meat Market to see what delicious lunch options await, or enjoy a light lunch and satisfy your sweet tooth with European pastries, cakes and cookies from Brad's Breads and Bakery.
