Watercolor Magic

A watercolor painting class for beginners. Make a day of it with a friend. Enjoy two leisurely paced watercolor sessions. Kris will introduce you to a variety of watercolor techniques and tools and will help you discover how varied materials and tools affect the outcome of your paintings. She will cover essential watercolor basics, from how to handle and care for your brushes to the difference in paper and quality of paints. From 1 pm to 3 pm Kris will lead discussions about different styles and techniques while you paint, so get ready to dive deep into the creative activities. and allow yourself the luxury of taking time to discover ways to express yourself without worry or judgement. An hour’s break will include a light lunch in the studio garden. Fee includes watercolor journal and supplies you can take home. Instructor: Kris Peed 10:00 a.m. ~ 3:00 p.m.
