Join our community wide Walk 4 Water as a symbolic gesture of respect for those who walk for water daily in order to survive in Uganda. All funds raised will go to the drilling of a safe water boreholes for the precious village of Okolimong, Uganda. Sunday, August 13, 2023 Check-in and Registration at 2:00 p.m. Walk begins at 3:00 p.m. Pilot Knob State Park @ Loop Shelter 2148 340th St Forest City, IA 50436 We will be walking about 2 miles. This is similar to the average distance young children in Uganda walk to retrieve water daily.
