UScellular Brings Guinness World Records Title Experience to Cedar Rapids

UScellular will bring a 507-foot, 8-inch mini golf hole, a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title holder, to Cedar Rapids for the public to play. The company will host a free event from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Plaza Park on Mays Island with the record-holding golf hole and additional family-friendly activities that include face painting, a giant puzzle, snow cones, mural painting and other larger-than-life games. As part of its Built for US platform, UScellular has provided tips and resources to help people have a better relationship with their technology. Earlier this year, the company created a “Board of Connectors,” a group comprised of youth from Boys & Girls Clubs and children of UScellular associates, to inspire more ways for families to create better digital habits.
