Todd Pirck: “Sunflower Slim”

At 2:00 p.m. on June 8, 2025, the Betty Strong Encounter Center welcomes to its stage the unique musical stylings of “Sunflower Slim” (Todd Pirck). Admission is free with a reception to follow Sunflower Slim will play his versions of country, folk, rock, and blues music. He will talk about why he believes that music is incredibly important to people’s lives. He operates a sunflower ranch in his hometown of Davenport, Iowa, where he harvests seeds and gives them away to people at his shows all around the country.
