The Wonderful World of Worms FARM SCHOOL

Join us on Friday, June 20th to learn about the critical role worms play in recycling the soil and stimulating root growth of plants, and the way they benefit the garden and farms. Students will learn fascinating facts about these wiggly, wonderful critters. Students will learn how worms need food, air and space to grow. They will also have the opportunity to see live worms up close. Our friends from the West Des Moines Public library will join us for a story. NEW for 2025, a reservation is required! Rose Farm will release tickets every Monday (mark your calendar for June 16!) for the upcoming Friday Farm School. The farm will host 50 children at each session. There is no fee to attend and tickets are complimentary to every child. You are welcome to bring along your lawn chair or a blanket. Our lessons and stories are geared towards school-age children. However, we welcome guests of all ages as there are sensory experiences beneficial to even the youngest guest. You'll also find sweet treats and drinks available for purchase in The Shoppe.
