Summer camps at the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium provide children entering K–8th grade with engaging, interactive programs during the summer months. Participants must bring a sack lunch and reusable water bottle for full day camps. Campers are divided by grade level. Middle School Camp is for those entering 6th-8th grades. It is a 2-day camp and includes an overnight at the River Museum. Arrive at 9 a.m. on July 1 and leave at 4 p.m. on July 2. How would you survive in the wilderness? What would you use to build a shelter, start a fire, or find food? You will learn skills for living in the wild, as well as, how various species go about it. Also, you will go on an American Adventure within the summer exhibit and make choices along the way. Join us as we travel through the adventures of the outdoors.
