Southwest Iowa Band Jamboree

Clarinda's Longest Musical Tradition is co-sponsored by the Clarinda Chamber of Commerce, Clarinda Community Schools, and the City of Clarinda. Every year it draws schools from Iowa, Missouri, and Nebraska which are judged in both parade and field marching in the daylong competition. The free parade starts at 9:00 a.m. around the downtown square followed by the afternoon field activities starting at 12:45 p.m. at the Clarinda High School Football Stadium.
