Spiders, scorpions, and exoskeletons, Oh My! Get into the Halloween spirit as we meet some of nature’s creepiest (and coolest!) critters. From buzzing bugs to crawling creatures without backbones, we’ll explore the wild world of invertebrates and uncover the truth behind their spooky reputations. Through hands-on activities, games, and up-close encounters, campers will discover that these tiny creatures aren’t so scary after all. School’s Out Day Camps are full-day programs held on weekdays when the Dubuque Community School District is not in session. Designed for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade, these camps focus on history, culture, biology, and STEM topics. Campers must bring a sack lunch and a reusable water bottle.
