Reflections of the Civil War

Take a step back in time to re-live the tragic events of the U.S. Civil War, 1861-1865. Visitors can stroll through the camps of both armies and see what soldier life was like for the troops. Learn what it was like to be an Iowa farm boy sent off to war and what life was like for the wives and mothers as they read letters from home. There are Living History activities for whole family. Kids can enlist in the Army and learn firsthand how to be a soldier. There will be a battle each day.
