On Saturday, June 8th, the day's events kick off with the Out of Competition Showcase at the Figge Art Museum, running from 11:10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Following a short break, attendees can join the Reel Talk Panel Discussion, which begins at 1:35 p.m. and continues until 3:10 p.m. The panel consists of experienced independent filmmakers who have films featured at the festival, providing valuable insights and engaging conversations. As the afternoon progresses, the Second Screening will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., providing another opportunity to enjoy some captivating films. The day will conclude with a reception starting at 5:30 p.m., where guests can mingle and relax and enjoy complimentary heavy hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. This will be followed by a special presentation from our guest speaker from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The evening features distinguished filmmaker Felicia D. Henderson, creator of Showtime's Emmy-nominated series Soul Food. Engage with Henderson as she shares insights from her acclaimed career and her new short film, The Rebel Girls. On Sunday, June 9th, join us again at the Figge Art Museum for The Reel Impact Showcase from 12:30 to 2:45 p.m. Later in the day, we'll gather at the Last Picture House for the Closing Awards Ceremony from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. All events are free and open to the public.
