Preservation Strategies

Preservation Strategies workshop is Monday the 7th from 5-6 p.m. at the @iowafoodcoop. We will go over the quickness, hands off processes of preserving. These strategies are great for getting through the end of the year when we are over canning and need to take on our harvest with new strategies. Our focus is on using a food saver, dehydrating, and hang drying herbs. We will go over tricks and tips on how to make these preservation strategies work for you in our busy lives plus how to involve your family. Finally everyone will take home their own herb bundle to hang dry that you can bring back to our next class the following week to infuse in oils or make into a cooking powder. Hope you join us!
