OWLS Mines of Spain Tour

Older, Wiser, Livelier, Souls Silos and Smokestacks Grand Tour–Mines of Spain Thursday, April 17th Reservations Required Join Older, Wiser, Livelier, Souls for the 2025 grand tour of the Silos and Smokestacks National Heritage Area. April’s destination will be a visit to the Mines of Spain and E.B. Lyons Nature Center. Please meet at Osborne Park at 10:00 to carpool to our destination. Are you looking for an excuse to get out of the house, meet new friends and enjoy a meal while you learn about our area? Join us the 3rd Thursday of each month, March through November, for O.W.L.S., Older Wiser Livelier Souls. Join us for April’s tour as we explore the Historic Mines of Spain and E.B. Lyons Nature Center. This tour will also include a visit to the shot tower and the Julien Dubuque Monument. Each month will feature a new Silos and Smokestacks Site, so join us as we explore the Silos and Smokestacks National Heritage Area. Reservations are required.
