Outdoor Summer Series: “We Will Rise Again” Musical

The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center is thrilled to host a performance of an original patriotic musical titled “We Will Rise Again.” The audience has two chances to see it at 6:30pm on Friday, August 22, 2025, or Saturday, August 23, 2025, on the Center’s Outdoor Spirit of Discovery stage. The musical was written by local Siouxland native Dianna Spirk and is based on the events of the War of 1812 during which Francis Scott Keyes wrote The Star-Spangled Banner. Admission is free. The audience will be positioned in a grassy area of Center’s campus, so they are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, as well as refreshments. In case of rain, the show will be moved inside to the auditorium.
