Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest returns for another year of fun! Enjoy an afternoon sampling a wide variety of beer brands and styles from the best breweries in Iowa and surrounding areas. Presented by Sheets Forrest Draper Insurance. The 2023 Oktoberfest will feature breweries bringing a variety of styles. Brewery reps will be on hand to visit with and educate fans on their beers. The festival will take place in Uptown Marion on 7th Avenue. Each attendee will receive a commemorative tasting glass, access to samples, and complementary water. Music by Lyle Beaver & the Brass Notes, plus a traditional stein holding contest and hammerschlagen, in Celebration Tent! Attendees must be 21 years of age or older to participate, IDs will be scanned at the entrance to the event. VIP Hour 11a.m. - Noon General Admission Noon - 3 p.m. Tickets will go on sale July 17! Stay tunes for more information. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Winter Lights program which helps fund Marion’s community beautification during the holiday season. Oktoberfest will also benefit the Iowa Brewer’s Guild which works to showcase and improve the quality of beer brewed in Iowa and supports the promotion of the local brewing community.
