Julie Silber shares her mothers collection with us Indigo and white quilts were a favorite among 19th-century quilt makers—and they continue to captivate collectors today. Known for its rich, colorfast qualities, indigo dye has produced stunning blue hues for centuries. Quilt makers across America often paired these deep blues with crisp whites, creating bold, timeless designs. This exhibit showcases 22 quilts from the personal collection of artist Merry Silber, lovingly preserved and expanded by her daughter. It’s a family tribute to the enduring beauty of blue and white quilts—meant to be shared and celebrated.
