Lunch and Learn: Roses

Meet us under The Rose Farm Garden Pavilion for a two-hour garden lunch and learn experience from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. Guests will first enjoy a three-course lunch prepared by the Doolittle Farm team and then take a tour of the farmstead. Following lunch and a tour, a presentation will be shared about roses. Listen and learn from Leslie Hunter, Horticulture Manager of Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden, as she shares her knowledge on growing roses. You will learn how to choose what grows best in zone 5, feeding, mulching, pest management, and planting. Each guest will leave with a beautiful bundle of freshly harvested flowers or a gift from the farm.
