Loess Hills Prairie Seminar

Come explore, learn, and relax in the Heart of the Loess Hills in Monona County, Iowa for the 49th Anniversary of the Loess Hills Prairie Seminar! The Loess Hills Prairie Seminar is a free annual event that was started back in 1977 that aims to bring together conservation professionals, environmental educators, nature enthusiasts, and the general public for a weekend of free, educational, and hands-on sessions in the Loess Hills. Each year we see families come back, as it has grown to be a multi-generational event. This year’s seminar is scheduled for May 30 to June 1, 2025. The seminar always occurs during the weekend following Memorial Day.
