Junior Archeologist Field Day

Date: Saturday September 6, 2025 Time: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Location: Conservation Office at Briggs Woods Park, Webster City, IA Have you ever wanted to be like Indiana Jones and dig up ancient artifacts or find buried treasure? Join us and learn about prehistoric and historic times, get an up-close look at real Native American stone tools and arrow heads. You can participate in a hands-on dig to find placed artifacts, coins, and bones at the beach after the presentation. All ages are welcome. Come and explore the science of Archeology with our County Naturalist, John Laird and Deputy Ryan Rupiper. The program is limited to the first 50 who register online.
