JDIFF is a five-day event that brings the finest in independent features, documentaries and short films from around the world, along with many of the filmmakers themselves, to Dubuque, IA. Over the years, JDIFF has shown over 1000 World and US Premiers. The festival attracts an eclectic mix of filmmakers and film lovers coming together to watch, discuss and support important and interesting films and enhance the festival’s standing as a leading promoter of arts, culture and education. Along with showing the best in independent film, there are great panels, workshops, and network opportunities throughout the festival week.
