Jenny Sammons: Layers of Becoming

The first gallery exhibit of the 2025-26 academic year will feature the work of Jenny Sammons. Sammons is a multidisciplinary artist based in Fairfield, Iowa. With a background in jewelry design and over a decade of experience as a visual artist, Jenny blends folk art influences, African motifs, and spiritual reflection to create colorful, layered works that speak to personal and collective transformation. Meet the Artist: Wednesday, August 27 from 4-5:30 p.m. The gallery is located at the back of the library in the Arts and Science building.
