Gallery Walk Art & Write Night

Mark your calendars for Friday, October 3! It's an exciting night at the Pentacrest Museums  Art & Write Night: Professional, aspiring, and amateur artists alike, make our museum your muse. Bird and Mammal Halls will be open from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. during the downtown Iowa City Gallery Walk. Immerse yourself in the galleries for the full event or stop by while you're checking out the other stops in Iowa City. ?? Ghosts in the Galleries: During the month of October, both the Old Capitol Museum and the Museum of Natural History will offer take-home photos of our galleries for you to "spookify" and submit to win a prize. This activity will kick off during Art & Write Night at both museums, where the Student Advisory Board will provide more information.  Iowa City Downtown District Fall Gallery Walk: Grab a Gallery Walk card and enjoy self-guided tours of shops, galleries, and museums for a stamp from each location. Visit enough of them to be entered to win a prize! Old Cap visitors will get to see the INTO LIGHT and Night Circus exhibits, hot cider, and a community art project for their stamp. Don't miss us on this perfect autumn evening.
