First Hike of 2025 at Bellevue State Park Dyas Unit

The First Hike of the Year 2025 will be sponsored by the DNR and Friends of Bellevue State Park. This year's hikes, will be located at the Dyas Unit, and engage hikers with the story of The Gnomes' Winter Journey while they participate in a scavenger hunt for colorful gnomes hiding along the Deer Trail. Also, a fun Hot Chocolate Mug hike will be held on the Bluff Trail, which will feature colored pictures by the Kindergarten classes at Bellevue Elementary School. Whether you participate in one or both hikes, make sure to stop at one of the outdoor pavilions at the Dyas Unit for your free package of hot chocolate to warm you up when you get home!
