Fall Family Fun at Brenton Slough

Celebrate fall with your family at Brenton Slough with Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation and Polk County Conservation! Families can enjoy an interpretive hayrack ride, nature crafts and other activities suited for all ages, all celebrating the interesting plants and animals found on the 1,100-acre property near Grimes that may become central Iowa’s newest nature area. This event is free, and families can come and go as schedules allow. The hayrack ride will be offered continually throughout the event on a first-come, first-served basis.
