DWELL Solo Exhibition

DWELL is a solo exhibition of fiber art and sculpture from artist Catherine Reinhart, presented by the Waldemar A. Schmidt Art Gallery at Wartburg College. Artist Reception: March 8th 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Artist Talk: March 8th 6:30 p.m. As artist and mother, I am both archivist and field hand, creating studies in the accretion of domestic life and cataloging its labors. DWELL is a solo exhibition of fiber art and sculpture that will consider themes of maternal time, and domestic labor in relationship with the architectural, the industrial, and the archaeological. My inquiry is propelled by these questions: How can we reframe care through graciously looking at abandoned materials?
