Dot Day at the Market

Join us as we celebrate International Dot Day at the market on September 20th! The Waterloo Urban Farmers Market is once again partnering with the Waterloo Public Library, Waterloo Public Schools, Waterloo Center for the Arts, and downtown businesses to bring a wonderful celebration of creativity to downtown! This event is FREE and open to the public. • Check out the Student Dot Day exhibit grand opening at the Waterloo Public Library at 9:00 a.m., featuring all of the dots created by Waterloo students and participants • Read “The Dot” Story Walk while strolling between the library and the market • Check out the Red Dot Specials or special products available at the market from participating market vendors • Join us for the storytime reading of "The Dot" with the Waterloo Public Library and a special Dot themed local song • Whether you are 8 or 88, come make your mark on the plaza using sidewalk chalk and help us create Waterloo's LARGEST DOT • Weave some yarn and ribbon through bicycle wheels to grow the one-of-a-kind "dots" started last year • Have fun with some dot themed art activities at The Waterloo Center for the Arts booth • Stop by Charlie & Ruby Sue's booth to purchase a dot themed transfer and have it pressed onto your item of choice • Join the hula hoop class provided by Hoop Dreams w/ B beginning at 10:00 • Join in the drum circle with Drum Iowa beginning at 10:00 Mark yourself as going so you don't miss anything as we continue to update the list of activities!
