Donate Life Run/Walk

Donate Life Run/Walk April is Donate Life Month, and Des Moines County Conservation invites YOU to participate in the Donate Life Run/Walk on Saturday, April 12, in support of the Iowa Donor Network and Des Moines County Conservation. This event is more than just a race; it’s an opportunity to raise awareness for organ and tissue donation while honoring donors, donor families, recipients, and living donors. Join us at Starr’s Cave Park and Preserve, where the event kicks off at 9:00 a.m. with a 1-Mile Run/Walk, followed by a combined 5K and 10K start at 9:30 a.m. All ages and abilities are welcome to join the fun, but please note that pets are not allowed unless they are service animals. Pre-register for the 1-Mile for $15, 5K for $20, or 10K for $25. Day-of registration increases by $5 for each event.
