Christmas With a Cause

Shop for gifts and support humanitarian work. Free admission. Christmas with a Cause is a global market where all are invited to shop for unique and inspiring Christmas presents with proceeds going to help fund humanitarian work locally and around the world. Thirty-three local and international organizations will have booths filled with homemade and unique items, such as purses, scarves, wall décor, jewelry, baked goods, children’s toys and books, baked goods, and much more. Each booth represents men, women and children who are in need locally and around the world. Proceeds from this event will help children go to school in Haiti, support women who have been rescued from sex trafficking, uplift adults through literacy classes in Rwanda, assist those without shelter in Central Iowa, support refugees and immigrants, provide clean water in Africa, and the list goes on. Food trucks: On Saturday from 11:30-2 p.m. Snappy’s Barbecue and Walking Noods LLC will be in the front parking lot.
