Celebration in Brass

Celebration in Brass features six outstanding drum and bugle corps at Ankeny Stadium on July 14, 2024. This year will feature the Govenaires, River City Rhythm, Colt Cadets, Blue Stars, Bluecoats and Colts. Through Drum Corps International (DCI), competitive drum corps participate in summer touring circuits – referred to as “Marching Music’s Major League.” Celebration in Brass is a partnership between the Ankeny Community Schools, Ankeny Instrumental Music (AIM) Foundation and Iowa’s own Dubuque Colts Drum and Bugle Corps. Tickets are available online: https://www.dci.org/events/2024-celebration-in-brass. Significant proceeds from the show go back to the AIM Foundation to support the band programs at Ankeny High School and Centennial High School. Tickets are also available at www.colts.org, or at the ticket booth of Ankeny Stadium starting at 3:00 p.m. on July 14. Groups of 20 or more get a 10% discount. Groups of 50 or more get a 20% discount.
