Candy Cane Hike / A Christmas in the City Event

Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025 Time:2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Location: Shelter 2 Briggs Woods Park Come and hike the park trails at Briggs Woods Park together with the County Naturalist in search of hidden candy canes on the trees, bushes, and logs. Tony Streigle of the Webster City Church of Christ will tell of the legend of the candy cane. John Laird of Hamilton County Conservation will also discuss what is going on with the animals in the woods during the winter. The Webster City Church of Christ is sponsoring the program by providing cookies and hot cocoa after the hike. Dress appropriately for the cold weather conditions.
