The Alley Art Festival is reinventing the alleys of Downtown Sioux City on Saturday, September 20 with BRAND NEW MURALS, ART VENDORS, LIVE MUSIC, KIDS ACTIVITIES, & MORE This open-air art experience invites YOU to: Explore 29 BRAND NEW MURALS Sioux City’s largest refreshed outdoor gallery among 140+ murals! Murals are created by local and regional artists selected through an application process. Their creative work has turned a previously unconventional alley way into Sioux City's most unique outdoor art experience. While you wander the wonders of the alleys, remember to vote for your favorite mural to win the People's Choice Award! Add a new creation or three to your collection while browsing original artwork from nearly 30 regional ART VENDORS on 5th Street! LIVE MUSIC - Headlining the Fourth Street Stage is Chicago Blues Legend STUDEBAKER JOHN & THE HAWKS joined by a growing list of area acts: the Dojo Saints, the Gutter Collective, Banana Cramps and more! FAMILY ACTIVITIES - The fun doesn’t stop there! The day will be full of lively, FREE, & creative activities for the young and young at heart. Kids can create their very own tambourine, sidewalk murals, and EVERYONE can add to the community mural! 11:00am - 11:00pm Admission is only $5 at the gate AND kids 12 & under get in FREE! PLUS a variety of local food trucks will be on site and beer, wine, water & more will be available for purchase.
