“Connecticut Witch Trials” with Dr. Scott Culpepper Historian Dr. Scott Culpepper will present “The Connecticut Witch Trials” at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 24 at the Betty Strong Encounter Center. Dr. Scott Culpepper, one of the Center’s regular lecturers, will bring his program “The Connecticut Witch Trials” to the Betty Strong Encounter Center’s stage at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 24. Free admission; reception to follow. The event is part of the “Fine Arts Series” sponsored by a Humanities Project Grants through the Iowa Arts Council/Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs. The Center comprises a private, non-profit cultural complex built and sustained by Missouri River Historical Development, Inc. (MRHD).
