Whiterock Exhibit Opening

Whiterock Art exhibit will open Tuesday, October 4 at the Betty Strong Encounter Center. A preview of the exhibit and reception for the artists will be held on Sunday, October 2 at 2 p.m. The exhibit will run until November 13, and can be visited during the Center’s hours of operation. Whiterock Art is an exhibit of the work of three Sioux City artists, Terri McGaffin, Shelby Prindaville, and Pauline Sensenig, who have served as an Artist-in-Residence at Whiterock Conservancy. Whiterock Conservancy is a 5,500 acre non-profit land trust that balances sustainable agriculture, natural resource protection, and public recreation on the landscape. Located near Coon Rapids, Iowa, along seven miles of the Middle Raccoon River valley, it is open to the public every day for recreation and exploration. A visit there is food for the soul.
