School's Out Day Camps: Flex Your Mussels

Join the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium for School’s Out Day Camps that take place on weekdays when the Dubuque Community School District is not in session. These full-day camps are for students in K-5th grade. Students are required to bring a sack lunch and a reusable water bottle. We know your muscles are powerful, but have you seen our mussels do their work? Come flex with us as we learn and explore about the world of mussels, from what they are and how they work, to the history of mussels and their importance in the environment. We’ll use our strength to answer these questions and explore the museum’s mussel population, while creating our own mussels.
