Full Moon Snowshoe & Soup Potluck at Briggs Woods

Full Moon Snowshoe & Soup Potluck Briggs Woods Park and Golf Course, Hamilton County Tuesday, January 14, 2025 Meet us at the conservation office for a brief talk on snowshoe basics. Following the discussion we will snowshoe on the golf course from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Stay and complete the evening with a warm bowl of soup and conversation from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. Our Naturalist will provide some chicken noodle and mild chili soup to enjoy. People are encouraged to bring a crock pot of soup to add some variety to our soup potluck. A limited number of snowshoes are available so feel free to bring your own. If there is no snow we will have a night hike in Brigg's Woods Park on the Boone River Recreational Trail. We may look at the night sky and identify some winter constellations with an app so have your smartphone along. All ages welcome to attend. If you have question contact John M. Laird at 515-297-0423.
